Shear Nuts in high quality A2-304 Grade Stainless Steel. From M6 to M20!

Shear Nuts or Vandal Proof Nuts are designed to provide a permenant, one way fixing. They are installed using standard tooling (eg: spanner, socket set etc..)

When the nut is fully tightened, the hexagonal drive head is designed to shear off as additional torque is applied, leaving the threaded conical lower collar of the shear nut in position on the standard bolt or stud thread. Making these permanent fixing.

This offers a high security fixing as the cone shaped nut is designed to prevent any purchase point, thus making removal very difficult.
